The JazzSource
is dedicated to the memories of Steve Feinstein and Duke DuBois who were both truly instrumental in making NAC/Smooth Jazz radio a reality. They touched so many lives, including ours.

They are deeply missed.

QUESTION: What is JazzSource?

ANSWER: The JazzSource is a platform from which Jazz and NAC/SmoothJazz broadcast professionals, such as Announcers, Music Directors, Program Directors and others in the industry can have readily available sources for topical information to be used on or off air.

QUESTION: Who operates JazzSource?

ANSWER: The JazzSource's webmaster and editors are NAC/SmoothJazz Announcers who thought it pertinent to have such information readily available. We designed JazzSource not only for our personal use, but for the global broadcast community and general public at large.

QUESTION: Do I have to be a broadcast or music industry professional to use JazzSource?

ANSWER: Absolutely not! As a matter of fact, we encourage the general public to use every aspect of The JazzSource to learn more about Jazz and the NAC/SmoothJazz musical formats.

QUESTION: Can anyone contribute information such as articles, links, and ideas to The JazzSource?

ANSWER: Anyone who has the slightest interest in Jazz or NAC/ SmoothJazz formats can and should contribute any and all information that will help make the website more useful and enjoyable. Please submit comments and/or questions to info@jazzsource.com. We're waiting to hear from you! By the way, you'll find our e-mail address on each and every page on our website, including our menus. So, if you feel like saying something, say it!

QUESTION: Why is The JazzSource based on a textual format as opposed to graphic format?

ANSWER: The use of GIFs, JPEGs and other picture formats truly enhances the appearance of a website yet dramatically increases the amount of data required to be transferred in downloads. This increase in data transfer is the primary reason why most of us wait for what seems to be an eternity waiting for pages to finish downloading. The JazzSource's design philosophy centers around instantaneous access to information.

Thank you for your interest in the JazzSource. More to come.
